Since June 2000, the Villa S. Chiara Nursing Home has been operating within a Quality Management System, compliant with the model proposed by the international standard UNI EN ISO 9001:2015, for the provision of healthcare services for the diagnosis and treatment of acute psychiatric disorders in an inpatient setting.
The quality of care, technical services, and hospitality is constantly monitored, and individual activities are organized according to a single system. Self-assessment, prevention mechanisms, and continuous improvement of services and structural organization involve all staff.

QUALITY POLICY

The Villa Santa Chiara Nursing Home is a private institution whose purpose is to treat psychiatric disorders in both the acute and rehabilitation phases, with high levels of effectiveness and efficiency that attract patients from all over the country. It operates both privately and under accreditation with the National Health Service.
The facility is rooted in the national territory and aims to be a point of reference in the field of psychiatric care, through relationships with other healthcare facilities and the organization of local and national conferences on specific topics.
The nursing home places the citizen at the center of its activities, providing a healthcare service that fully satisfies them both in terms of medical/care and accommodation, in compliance with national and regional legislative constraints.
With this in mind, it aims to use internal resources (employees, collaborators) and external resources (suppliers) effectively and efficiently, enhancing them in order to improve its competitiveness.

On this basis, the Management has established the following general objectives to which the entire nursing home is committed:

  1. Define quality standards, commitments, and programs consistent with the stated quality objectives;
  2. Standardize and formalize processes and monitor their implementation through indicators to verify the achievement of the stated quality objectives, with a view to effectiveness and efficiency;
  3. Develop continuous process improvement aimed at user satisfaction, staff and environmental safety, cost optimization, and reduction of non-compliance;
  4. Implement continuous improvement of the relationship between the nursing home and internal staff based on transparency, communication, involvement, and accountability with regard to resources and behavior;
  5. Comply with regulations and their changes and pay attention to social requirements.

Within the scope of these general objectives, the development and maintenance of a Quality Management System in accordance with UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 and its certification is considered essential, as is compliance with the accreditation requirements imposed by the National Health Service and implemented by the Region.
