The Villa Santa Chiara mental health facility is located in Quinto di Valpantena, just outside Verona, easily accessible and surrounded by greenery at the foot of the Torricelle hills. The facility, which is free of architectural barriers, offers welcoming, air-conditioned environments designed to ensure maximum comfort. The building combines the charm of the ancient villa with the functionality of renovated spaces, and is surrounded by a large park and equipped with private parking. A serene and protected setting, ideal for supporting every therapeutic pathway with care and professionalism.

The organizational structure

Private clinic accredited by the national health service

The Villa Santa Chiara private clinic is a private healthcare facility accredited with the national health service (NHS), according to regional law L.R. 22/2002, and has been operating since 1961. Located in Quinto di Valpantena, near Verona, it is surrounded by greenery and consists of a historic villa, a renovated central building, and a modern, new wing. The facility offers diagnostic, treatment, and rehabilitation pathways for people with psychiatric disorders, with 118 accredited beds out of 119 authorized, and three functional units. The approach is person-centered, with attention to dialogue with families and community services, in a setting that combines professionalism, technology, and humanity.

Our activities

Ground Floor

The ground floor brings together healthcare services, support areas, and spaces dedicated to daily life. Located here are the outpatient clinics for visits and diagnostic activities, the analysis laboratory, the central kitchen that prepares daily meals for patients, and an internal laundry facility. There are also places designed for rest and reflection: a bar area with vending machines, a secluded chapel for those seeking a moment of spirituality, and convenient direct access to the park, a true added value of the facility, where the greenery accompanies the steps of rehabilitation.

Intermediate floor

Upon entering Villa Santa Chiara, a welcoming environment opens up, housing the administrative offices, including admissions, the secretariat, the clinical records office, the public relations office, the administrative directorate, and the quality management service. The same floor also contains the doctors’ and psychologists’ consulting rooms, the clinical management office, and an inpatient ward featuring a private garden, a quiet space designed to promote the well-being and serenity of the guests.

First and second floor

The floors are designated as inpatient wards, featuring three-bed, double (two-bed), or single-bed rooms, all equipped with private en-suite bathrooms. The single and double rooms also include a television. each ward is organized with dining rooms, common living areas with a television, and a dedicated smoking room, aiming to offer guests comfortable environments and social spaces.

Third Floor

A floor dedicated to growth, expression, and experimentation. located here are the library and the educators’ area, intimate environments for reading, studying, or simply finding a moment of quiet. A large multi-purpose hall hosts physical activities, art workshops, group sessions, and socialization moments. Finally, an area is reserved for the night duty doctor, ensuring a constant and reassuring presence for all guests.
