Relational and behavioral disorders
We work with patients exhibiting dysfunctional behaviors or impulse control difficulties, offering clinical and rehabilitative interventions tailored to age, context, and individual resources, to promote emotional and relational balance.
The condition
Relational and behavioral disorders are conditions that manifest with persistent patterns of problematic interaction with others or difficulty in regulating one’s behavior. These patterns can significantly impact personal, social, and occupational relationships, causing distress for both the individual and their environment. The causes are varied, often linked to family dynamics, life experiences, and individual psychological factors. For this reason, an in-depth understanding and a targeted support pathway always require a specialist assessment.
Our approach
Our approach to relational and behavioral disorders is based on an accurate diagnostic assessment that goes beyond the single problematic behavior, to understand the underlying dynamics and the individual’s life context. We recognize the importance of a psychotherapeutic intervention focused on relationships and interaction patterns, aimed at identifying and modifying dysfunctional patterns. In some cases, when clinically appropriate and in the presence of specific comorbidities, supportive pharmacotherapy may also be considered. The goal is to help the person develop new communication skills, regulate their emotions, and build healthier and more satisfying relationships. We offer personalized support to promote greater self-awareness and improve adaptation in various life contexts.
